The confidence shows in her eyes
Her lips plumpen to whisper “kiss me”
A blush rushes to her cheeks whilst a smile forms her whole face
There’s a twinkle about her that helps understand an astronomers curiosity with the stars
I stop and stare at my phone or the images branded in my head with wonder and questioning
“How and why is she mine?”
“Can’t she see this in her everyday?”
But the truth and answer that I’ve found with my time with her
“Being fortuitous enough to have an angel in one’s life, whether with broken wings and halo or in whole, is the best thing a man can ask for”
Whispering Angel
